| Job Description | Media General\'s CBS station, WJTV, in Jackson, MS and WHLT CBS 22 in Hattiesburg, MS, seeks a dynamic Writer/Producer who possesses excellent writing skills and superior video editing capabilities. This position is responsible for enticing viewers to watch our stations, day in and day out. This position develops daily news topicals, TSR\'s, PSA\'s and presentations, as well as assists with station and community events. |
| Qualifications | Experience in news promotion and branding/image promotion across TV, web and other platforms with proven ability to produce unique, effective and compelling promotional spots. This position requires an advanced level of competency to deal the fast pace of daily news promotion along with creative copy-writing, shooting and editing skills.
Minimum of two years experience required in television promotion/creative services. Candidate should possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills, and be proficient in Adobe CS3 software, Premiere Adobe After-effects, Photoshop and Illustrator. |
