Job Summary/Description:
WLBT is looking for a multimedia journalist to join our award-winning news team. This person
should be a born storyteller who seeks out stories that matter to the community.
Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Shooting, writing and editing daily content for newscasts and website
Building local contacts and pitching story ideas
Live reporting on news stories
Participate in daily editorial meetings
Qualifications/Requirements:
College degree in journalist/related field or equivalent work experience
Strong writing skills
Time management skills
Familiarity with video cameras and editing software
